Asian NGO Coalition for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ANGOC)

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee by protecting and supporting them as they build a new future. NRC advocates the rights of refugees and internally displaced persons locally, nationally and internationally, in order to influence decision-makers to improve conditions for those affected by displacement.

The Huairou Commission is a global coalition of women’s networks, INGOs, and grassroots women’s organizations that empowers grassroots women by developing strategic partnerships and linkages among grassroots women’s organizations, advancing their capacity to collectively influence political spaces on behalf of their communities and enhance their sustainable, resilient community development practices.

Founded in 1979, Asian NGO Coalition for Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ANGOC) is a regional association of national and regional networks of non-government organizations (NGO) in Asia actively engaged in food security, agrarian reform, sustainable agriculture, participatory governance and rural development.

ActionAid is an international non-governmental organization whose primary aim is to work against poverty and injustice worldwide. ActionAid was founded in 1972 as a child sponsorship charity (originally called Action in Distress), the primary focus being on providing children with an education. Today its head office is located in South Africa with hubs in Asia, The Americas and Europe.

AGRA is a dynamic, African-led partnership working across the African continent to help millions of small-scale farmers and their families lift themselves out of poverty and hunger. AGRA programs develop practical solutions to significantly boost farm productivity and incomes for the poor while safeguarding the environment. AGRA advocates for policies that support its work across all key aspects of the African agricultural “value chain”—from seeds, soil health, and water to markets and agricultural education.

World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Founded in 1950, it is an independent organisation that is not formally affiliated with any government, denomination, foundation or corporation, though it maintains positive working relationships with all of these.

World Vision works in three areas:

Oxfam is an international confederation of 18 organizations working together with partners and local communities in more than 90 countries. Oxfam International was formed in 1995 by a group of independent non-governmental organizations. Their aim was to work together for greater impact on the international stage to reduce poverty and injustice. The name 'Oxfam' comes from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, founded in Britain in 1942.
