Expert Group Meeting on Pastoral Lands and Range Lands in the Arab region

In collaboration with the UN-Habitat/ Global Land Tool Network (GLTN), the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies (LCPS) is organizing and carrying out an online Expert Group Meeting (EGM) on ‘pastoral and range lands’ in the context of the Arab region. Its main purpose is to fill knowledge gaps in existing studies as well as to allow experience exchange among experts, professionals and organizations working on the topic.

Expert Group Meeting on land governance and climate change in the Arab region

Training on Monitoring Land Governance and Land Tenure Security in the Arab Region

Jordan-based organization Rasheed (Transparency International-Jordan). is hosting a three-day online-training event on monitoring land governance in the Arab region. The aim of this event is to support national stakeholders with the development of their capacities in collecting, analysing and reporting on land-related data as provided for by the joint module for collecting data and reporting on SDG indicators 1.4.2 and 5.a.1.

Webinar: Securing Women’s Land for Peace in South Sudan

This webinar will provide critical information on the status of women’s land rights for peace building in South Sudan Key research findings and project outcomes in securing women’s land rights for peace and stability in South Sudan will be disseminated Outcomes, challenges and opportunities in the ongoing project will be shared and new areas of collaboration, partnerships and synergies explored.

8th GLTN Partners Meeting

GLTN Partners will hold the 8th biennial Partners’ Meeting from Tuesday 1st December to Friday 4th December 2020. The focus of the online meeting will be on strategic decisions and policy directions of the Network, discussions on the implementation of the GLTN programme in the context of COVID-19 pandemic and strengthening partnership and collaboration within the Network.
